The Aston Martin V8 Vantage: A Competitive Sports Car under $120,000

In 2003, Aston Martin presented the V8 Vantage as a concept car for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The debut of this hot fast car gave way for Aston Martin’s image as a fast sports car manufacturer.

When Aston Martin unveiled the 2006 V8 Vantage production model at the 2005 Geneva International Motor Show, many fast car enthusiasts were thrilled to have another first class, fast sports car alternative to cars in the market.

Aston Martin is well known for its expensive line of racing cars and GT fast cars. With the introduction of the V8 new fast cars, which provides superb performance and quality at an affordable $110,000 tag price, Aston Martin is gearing up to the right track.

Due to its low price, many fast sports cars are being compared to the V8’s performance, quality and handling.

Unlike other sports cars, the V8 Vantage features a distinctively balanced chassis arrangement. It is designed with a mounted front, rear wheel drive, six-speed manual gearbox and an engine located just after the front wheels.

The Vantage V8 fast new cars come with a 2-seater body made mostly of aluminum materials and composite skin. Although many fanatics debate over the best fast car styles, the V8 impressive lines and functional analogy of design will definitely stir up various opinions.

The 2006 Vantage V8 fast cars were designed with a long nose and hood as well as pushed out wheels and tires in order to highlight its overall aesthetic.

With only 3,461 pounds of curb weight, the V8 Vantage super fast cars are powered with a 4.3-liter, OHC V8 engine that produces an impressive 380 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 302 lbs-ft of torque at 5000 rpm.

Propelling to a top speed of 175 mph, the V8 Vantage hot fast cars can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 4.8 seconds and through 100 mph in 10.7 seconds.

Contrary to the perceptions of many fast car enthusiasts, the V8 Vantage is intended to be for daily driving. It offers comfort without electronic variable suspensions, fancy paddle-shifting gearbox or hard to please engines. Aston Martin deliberately designed the V8 fast cars’ electronics to be as simple and easy to drive as possible.

Unexpectedly, Aston Martin has developed a car that will put its name in the competitive world of fast sports cars. For many years, the Aston remained a second choice. With the production of these elegantly designed hot fast cars, Aston has become a serious challenger in the world of sports car manufacture.
