The 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur: A Sporty Luxury Limousine

For decades, Bentley has provided thousands of luxury fast cars that guarantee high-standard performance. Bringing classic concepts into revamped new fast cars brings out the best of Bentley.

Twelve months after the Continental GT Coupe led the automobile market with flying colors, Bentley presented another impressive 4-door saloon – the Continental Flying Spur.

Considered as the fastest car in the world of Bentley, the Flying Spur is derived from the 2005 Continental GT and the 1952 R-Type Continental.

The Flying Spur retains its “Grand Tourer” sporty looks and delivers a more powerful performance combined with elegance and comfort.

Branded with superiority, the Flying Spur fast car will definitely be positioned at the top of the automobile market.

The 2006 Flying Spur is equipped with a twin turbocharged 6-liter W12 that can produce 552 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 480 ft-lbs of torque at 1600 rpm. This hot fast car redlines at 6300 rpm and accelerates a zero to 60 mph in 5 seconds. In addition, this Bentley’s fast new car can rocket up to a top speed of over 200 mph while braking to a 60 to zero mph n 117 ft.

Outfitted with a six-speed semi-automatic gearbox, the Flying Spur super fast car was designed to match other top-end, fast saloons by supercar automobile manufacturers such as BMW or Mercedes-Benz.

The style used in the Flying Spur hot fast car is similar to the Continental GT, yet has a simpler front and muscular lines at the end. Twenty inches longer than the GT, the Flying Spur’s interior is high-class – with spacious front and rear as well as handmade wood and leather finished cabins.

Although the Flying Spur may seem such a muscular fast car, it offers smooth handling by integrating impressive features such as high grip levels, flexible air springing and exceptional noise insulation.

Bentley designed the Flying Spur with extra caution to minimize its weight. Although only 200 pounds heavier than the Continental GT, the 2006 Flying Spur will never be considered as an aggressively fast sports car.

Bentley presented the Flying Spur as a performance-oriented super fast car. Impressively, the manufacturer also enhanced its standard equipments such as bi-HID highlights, 19-inch wheels, suspension damping system, four-zone automatic climate control, automatic door latching, DVD navigation, 16-way power front seats with 3-positioned memory, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and an audio system with glove box-mounted CD changer.

To spice up your Flying Spur, optional feature include exclusive 19 or 29 –inch wheel, exterior color palettes, wood trim, leather upholstery of your choice.

Compared to any premium luxury sedans, the 2006 Flying Spur fast cars are definitely one of a kind. With enhanced occupant safety and comfort, modern features, detailed interior, classic exterior and superb performance, you’ll never go wrong with a Bentley.
