In July of 2001, the first Acura RSX Sports coupe debuted and received a plethora of praises for its vibrant design, state-of-the-art interior and superb performance. In fact, various respectable magazines have dubbed the Acura as one of the fastest cars in the market.

The 2006 Acura RSX is an updated RSX version with two available trims – the fast sports car RSX and the high-performance RSX Type-S. Both sporty fast cars are powered by superior engines that highlight the I-VTEC valve-control systems to enhance performance and deliver low exhaust emissions and superb fuel economy.

The RSX Type-S supercar automobile is equipped with a 16-valve DOHC, four-cylinder and 2-liter engine that rockets an impressive 201 horsepower at 7800 rpm and 140 lb-ft of torque at 7000 rpm. Even with this highly powerful engine, the RSX Type-S still produces 24 miles per gallon.

Acura developed this new fast car by utilizing high-performance camshafts and expanding the diameter of intake duct by approximately 1 percent. For this reason, the Type-S super fast car exclusively has an increased 10 percent on horsepower performance.

With an exclusive six-speed manual with Overdrive transmission, this fast cool car from Acura can boost up to a top speed of 155 mph with a redline of 8100 rpm. The RSX Type-S is a hot fast car true to its form – accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds with an impressive 200-ft skidpad of 0.88g and brakes from 70 mph to zero at 175 ft.

The RSX Type-S features perforated leather interior and steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob and sparkling black-on-white main gauges.

The fast new cars of Acura retained the first-generation look with its moon-roof and cruise control switches and subwoofer located neatly in the center of the spare wheel.

Outside, the Acura RSX Type-S sends off a less striking message, but still provides its sporty designs. For a super fast car to function properly, the 17-inch alloys, sharp creases and muscular corners are a perfect package for excellence performance.

Among the numerous fast autos with front-wheel-drive layouts, the Acura RSX Type-S is probably one of the best cars of its kind. Due to its stiff chassis and weighted variable-assist steering, the RSX Type-S performs smoothly in any twisting road driving experience.

Safety features are guaranteed with every RSX Type-S fast cars. Included in the new Acura are front and side air bags, passenger-side detection, ABS four-wheel disc brakes and bright halogen headlights.

When you need a car upgrade from an old Honda Civic or Acura, the RSX Type-S will surely provide excellent power, handling and modern, high-quality features. All RSX Type-S fast cars come with a 50,000 miles or four-year warranty.

The 2006 Acura RL is an awe-inspiring supercar automobile for both fast car lovers and the average driver. It is one of the most sophisticated fast cars in the market, which integrates advanced electronic technology such as phone communication, audio entertainment, personal assistance and real-time traffic information.

Although these features may come standard to any new fast cars of Acura, the 2006 RL focuses on smooth driving experience and efficiency of modern features.

Acura also boasts its Technology Package option for the 2006 RL fast new car that includes two innovative safety features – the Michelin PAX Run-Flat Tires ® and the CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System™).

The CMBS, which is the first North American fast cool car to integrate a feature of this kind, detects other vehicles and monitors possible rear-end collisions. This fast car gadget also helps in reducing the potential impact on front occupant by alerting the driver when the odds of a collision increase.

The 2006 Acura RL is composed of the most powerful engine ever produced by Acura fast autos. With a 3.5 V-6 engine, it produces 290 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 256 lbs-ft of torque at 5000 rpm. With a moderately high redline of 6800 rpm, the Acura RL super fast cars delivers a superb average fuel economy of 21 mpg.

Acura RL comes with a 5-Speed Automatic transmission and Sequential SportShift, paddle-shifters and Grade Logic Control System. This complete system allows the RL fast cars to distribute power from side to side and front to rear steadily.
The 2006 Acura RL fast sports car features an all-wheel drive system that increases rotation speed during aggressive turning and cornering providing more balance and grip.

The 2006 RL is not just another very fast car; all its aggressive exterior designs were designed for corning performance and acceleration.

Acura manufactured the 2006 RL using an ACEâ„¢ body structure (Advanced Compatibility Engineeringâ„¢) system. The ACEâ„¢ structure makes use of lightweight aluminum materials combined with high-tensile steel to produce a fast car that goes beyond safety measures while providing a sturdy platform.

The interior of the 2006 Acura RL new fast car evidently applies to a genuine luxury car. With fine wood accents and leather-trimmed seats of high-class materials, the RL is mated with the most advanced electronics such as LED gauges, state-of-the-art navigation system, and an Active Noise Cancellation system with satellite radio.
