The new fast cars of Murciélago, both Coupe and Roadster, feature a 6.2-liter lightweight V12 engine that holds a 571 horsepower at 7500 rpm and 480 lb-ft of torque at 5400 rpm.

Lamborghini also offers an optional “E-gear†transmission that works similar to a Formula One racecar by allowing manual shifting using paddles. The LP640 (which is short for “Longitudinale Posteriore 640 HP) refers to this new fast car’s engine position and power output.
This latest Lamborghini hot fast car features a radically upgraded 6.2-liter V12 engine that could produce a 640 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 487 lbs-ft at 6000 rpm. With an 8500-rpm redline, this 12-cylinder fast cool car can boost from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and accelerate up to a top speed of 210 mph (0.4 seconds faster than the 2006 Murciélago model).
