In 1879, the life of an exceptional bull named Murci was spared by the well-known matador Rafael Molina of Cordoba. In the bullfighting world, sparing a bull’s life is an honor only to extraordinary bulls that have shown great courage in the arena.

The three impressive characteristics of Murci – courage, aggression and power – define the Lamborghini Murciélago Concept.

The new fast cars of Murciélago, both Coupe and Roadster, feature a 6.2-liter lightweight V12 engine that holds a 571 horsepower at 7500 rpm and 480 lb-ft of torque at 5400 rpm.

This hot fast car is designed with an all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox. Lamborghini also offers an optional “E-gear” transmission that works similar to a Formula One racecar by allowing manual shifting using paddles. This option has a fully automatic setting that can be shifted to a normal or sports setting, which is perfect for both speed junkies and the average driver.

True to its supercar automobile form, the Murciélago can boost from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and zero to 100 mph in 9.5 seconds. Reaching a top speed of 205 mph, this fast cool car could pull a 200-ft skidpad of 0.98g and a 65.7-mph slalom speed.

Although striking angles highlight the exterior of this super fast car, it is still accentuated by graceful curves. The scissor-styled doors, which are hinged next to the front wheels, are one of the distinctive features of the Murciélago fast new cars.

Most of the exterior of this impressive fast car, apart from the door panels and steel roof, are made of carbon fiber built over a high-quality steel tubular frame. Combined with the latest innovations, the Murciélago super fast car includes visible vents and air intakes that work to cool the V12 engine down.

The sporty exterior designs of this 2-seater hot fast car are matched with leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The rear of this super fast sports car features two active intakes that work as an engine cooling system.

Another impressive feature is the angle-changeable rear spoiler, which is perfect in ensuring correct aerodynamic equilibrium at any given speed.

The most significant upgrade to this 12-cylinder fast cool car is the optional carbon-ceramic brakes, which can improve stopping power, agility, efficiency and handling both at high and low temperature without fading.

The roadster version of the Murciélago includes a soft-top for temporary use only to prevent fabric damage. According to Lamborghini, the roadster version of this super fast car is not designed for foul weathers.

Lamborghini Murciélago has evolved into this thrilling exotic speed machine. With its high-performance engine and confident handling even within limits, this beast is truly a fast sports car worth your $280,000.

For speed junkies who find the 2006 Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster or Coupe too subtle for your taste, the upgraded version of this exotic fast car will definitely cater your thrilling needs.

Called the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 for its impressive 640 horsepower output, this super fast car has been upgraded to boost performance while maintaining the exotic look of this supercar automobile.

The LP640 (which is short for “Longitudinale Posteriore 640 HP) refers to this new fast car’s engine position and power output.

This latest Lamborghini hot fast car features a radically upgraded 6.2-liter V12 engine that could produce a 640 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 487 lbs-ft at 6000 rpm. With an 8500-rpm redline, this 12-cylinder fast cool car can boost from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and accelerate up to a top speed of 210 mph (0.4 seconds faster than the 2006 Murciélago model).

Matching the face-lifted exterior of the LP640 fast car and the upgraded engine are new camshafts, rear lights, cylinder heads, crankshafts, exhaust system, and intake.

Another improved feature of this super fast car is the aerodynamically distinguished front and rear that defines the true Lamborghini – shaped to function.

Except for the sporty, steel scissor doors, majority of the bodywork doors is made of carbon fiber.
Just like its predecessor, the LP640 fast car still offers the optional ceramic carbon brake system that could guarantee significant deceleration values. This outstanding system also boasts its 4-channel ABS (anti-blocking system) with TCS and DRP (traction control and electronic brake control respectively).

The Lamborghini Murciélago of 2006 has an outstanding interior. But, wait ‘til you see the LP640 fast cool car. The added space of the cockpit has undergone drastic changes that are now equipped with modern head restraint, upholstered door panels and comfortable leather seats.

The changes of the upholstered interior are evident due to the revamped lozenge-shaped stitching.
The engine hood can also be made of high-quality transparent glass as an option.

This hot fast car also includes a new instrument panel with new graphic designs and lights, which is bordered by a Kenwood car radio with a 6.5” widescreen monitor as well as MP3, WMA and DVD player. The instrument panel can also be added with an optional navigation system.

The manufacturers of this amazing supercar automobile focused on improving the engine, interior and exterior functionality, gearbox, suspension, exhaust system, electronics and brakes. With the LP640 super fast car, Lamborghini has proven to remain true to its principles – sport, function and purism.

With the upgraded mechanics and body designs assisted by Lamborghini’s parent company Volkswagen, the LP640 is an aggressively fast sports car that can perform beyond your expectations.
