The 2006 Ford Reflex: Sporty. Small. Innovative.

With the unveiling of the sporty Ford Reflex Concept, the true American manufacturer has broadened the supercar automobile marketplace by presenting a small fast car that has it all. Ford has proven that even the smallest fast cars can be bold and innovative.

This new fast car is integrated with innovative technological features including solar panels, a flexible interior made of regenerated and synthetic materials, advanced rear safety belts and the sophisticated diesel-electric hybrid engine complemented by the new-generation lithium-ion batteries, which are responsible in delivering up to 65 miles per gallon.

This super fast car was developed by Ford’s concept of manufacturing daring American designs regardless of its size. The Ford Reflex represents Ford’s gearing up to the next generation of hot fast cars.

The 2006 Reflex fast cool cars are presented with a three-bar grill made entirely of hand-polished, high-strength extruded aluminum. This fast car’s shoulder lines flow upwards to form a B-pillar and backs down to the wheel arch.

The Reflex new fast cars display numerous impressive features. These include the reverse butterfly doors, self-powered solar roof fans, aggressive alloy-polished 20-inch wheels, low-roll resistance Michelin tire design and the low-voltage circuitry that are exposed beneath the rear hatch and glass roof.

Powered with a 1.4-liter Inline-4 engine with hybrid assist, Ford’s fast new cars can produce 155 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 129 ft-lb of torque at 4000 rpm.

The interior was designed with a two-plus-one backseat configuration to offer space efficiency on the lightweight fast car.

The 2006 Reflex includes transparent mesh seat covers in red and robotic white colors and a keyless activation cockpit.

Latest technology upgrades are integrated in the Reflex new fast cars. These include the six-speed semi-automatic transmission, an automatically powered love seat (making the back two-seater into one) and touch screen system, which trims down driver distraction.

Modern safety features are presented in the Reflex fast cool car, including side air curtains, child-safety seat, baby cam, BeltMinder technology for backseat passenger and the inflatable safety belts.

The impressive BeltMinder reminds the driver when any backseat occupant are not buckled up. This innovative feature reduces the risks of secondary occupants.

As a noise preventive, the Reflex fast cars are equipped with ground rubber called the Nike Grind, which are from scrap athletic shoes, in order to reduce vibration as well as overall noise.
