2006 Lamborghini Murciélago Coupe and Roadster: An Evolution of Exotic-looking, High-Speed Italian Sports Cars

The new fast cars of Murciélago, both Coupe and Roadster, feature a 6.2-liter lightweight V12 engine that holds a 571 horsepower at 7500 rpm and 480 lb-ft of torque at 5400 rpm.

This hot fast car is designed with an all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox. Lamborghini also offers an optional “E-gear” transmission that works similar to a Formula One racecar by allowing manual shifting using paddles. This option has a fully automatic setting that can be shifted to a normal or sports setting, which is perfect for both speed junkies and the average driver.

True to its supercar automobile form, the Murciélago can boost from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and zero to 100 mph in 9.5 seconds. Reaching a top speed of 205 mph, this fast cool car could pull a 200-ft skidpad of 0.98g and a 65.7-mph slalom speed.

Although striking angles highlight the exterior of this super fast car, it is still accentuated by graceful curves. The scissor-styled doors, which are hinged next to the front wheels, are one of the distinctive features of the Murciélago fast new cars.  

Most of the exterior of this impressive fast car, apart from the door panels and steel roof, are made of carbon fiber built over a high-quality steel tubular frame. Combined with the latest innovations, the Murciélago super fast car includes visible vents and air intakes that work to cool the V12 engine down.

The sporty exterior designs of this 2-seater hot fast car are matched with leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The rear of this super fast sports car features two active intakes that work as an engine cooling system.

Another impressive feature is the angle-changeable rear spoiler, which is perfect in ensuring correct aerodynamic equilibrium at any given speed.

The most significant upgrade to this 12-cylinder fast cool car is the optional carbon-ceramic brakes, which can improve stopping power, agility, efficiency and handling both at high and low temperature without fading.

The roadster version of the Murciélago includes a soft-top for temporary use only to prevent fabric damage. According to Lamborghini, the roadster version of this super fast car is not designed for foul weathers.
