This fast car’s powerful V8 engine rockets from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, on its way to its top speed of 208 mph. The SLR McLaren high-performance car runs through a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a manual setting with several modes. All SLR McLaren are hand-built and engineered by highly trained technicians – including its engine, interior seats and the exceptional carbon structure and body panels. It is the first super sports car to be made entirely of carbon fiber, which enhances the fast car’s strength and rigidity. Having passed a carbon-fiber crash test, the SLR McLaren is said to provide incomparable energy absorption during a collision. SLR McLaren high-performance sports cars are among the few models to include a ceramic brake technology, which provides astounding heat resistance, high stopping power, long service life and unparalleled structural strength. The outstanding break system of this gorgeous fast car can produce an equivalent of 2,000 horsepower, which can safely bring the SLR to a halt from 200 mph. The SLR McLaren is not just another hot fast car; it provides extensive safety measures such as front, side and knee airbags as well as an equally impressive Electronic Stability Program responsible for controlling the braking and throttling to maintain proper traction.
