The 2006 Toyota Avalon XLS: Completely Redesigned For Superior Performance
The Toyota Avalon, which was first introduced in 1995, returns in 2006 with four fast car trims – the XL, XLS, Touring and Limited Edition. With these new fast cars, Toyota definitely proves that it can still produce traditional American fast muscle cars. These new fast cars are Avalon’s third generation. It is now enhanced with top-of-the-line safety features and distinctive styling presenting a high quality fast car with grace and agility. It simply displays Toyota’s interpretation of large American sedans. The new Avalon XLS fast cars define what Toyota wanted to say. The Avalon XLS new fast cars are equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which can produce 269 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 248 ft-lbs of torque at 4700 rpm. The XLS hot fast cars can boost from zero to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds and through 100 mph in 15.4 seconds. The XLS fast car models retain the standard suspension and 17-inch tire size. However, it adds a powerful moon roof, a 4-way adjustable passenger seat and in-dash six-disc CD charger. It also features dual-heated outside mirror combined with electro chromic auto-dimming and HomeLink universal transceiver as well as an auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass. With the smooth styling and massive size, these new fast cars definitely give the 2006 Avalon version the look of a contemporary American sedan. The XLS features leather seating surfaces and bright metal-look plastic trims. Standard features of the SLX cool fast cars include leather-wrapped steering wheel, central LCD information screen and power windows, mirrors and door locks. It also includes a moonroof, an electro chromic auto-dimming driver’s-side, outside and inside rear-view mirrors, heated outside-mirrors and power-adjustable front buckets. All new Toyota Avalon fast cars come with a stronger chassis structure with full airbags (including dual front, front and rear head curtain, driver’s knee, seat-mounted front side) and anti-lock 4-wheel disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution. Optional safety features include TRAC traction control, VSC vehicle stability control and the Brake Assist System. Among the four Avalon new fast car models, the XLS leads in providing comfort and support. It is truly a business class car with a reclining flat floor, extra legroom and a larger trunk.
